MAX Studio Fix Fluid Foundation. I was never a big foundation person until I used this stuff. I totally covers up my redness/discoloration, and it doesn't feel like I'm wearing anything. It's what my wedding day make-up artist used on me (NOT a MAC employee!), and I've been hooked ever since.

    Neutrogena Body Wash (with scrubbers)

    Benefit's Dandelion Shampoo

    Perfume

And I want to check out the new Neutrogena zip zapper. It supposedly reduces pimples in just hours. I don't get them often but if I happen to wake up with one the morning of the big day (god forbid!) it might be good to have!

Neutrogena zip zapper- I wish I would have had that for my consulation Saturday...never break out like that but I WOULD get my period 2 days before...

That foundation sounds fab! I usually just use Clinique concealer to cover up blemishes/scars and top it off with a foundation powder because I've never found a foundation that gave me that natural look.

dermilogica bar soap for the face- by FAR the best i have used.

Estee Lauder pore reducer and skin perfector- i always use this before any kind of foundation.

lip chap- i HATE dry lips

Lash primer. i dont remember the brand..i think its lancome. Makes my lashes so much longer than just using mascara alone.

and like 10 more products but im a HUGE appearance person. It takes me like 1.5 hours to get ready for work..and i work with old people!!!!

Use your waterproof Dior mascara as an eyeliner (just get an angled eyeliner brush).

Chanel makes a lip color that is like a liquid lipstick with a gloss over it. It's amazing!

Benefit "That Gal" primer (reduced pores, adds glow, smells great and is very gentle)

Call me dumb, but what exactly does primer do?  Is it something I should be using?  I feel like my forehead is ALWAYS shiny/greasy at the end of the day, would this help?

If you use a primer, do you need to use moisturizer?  Or does it replace that?

Sulli - The clarisonic is WELL worth it! I bought it a few months ago, after reading an article in Martha Stewart Weddings. It's been so good at minimizing my pores, clearing up my face and making everything more smooth and even. Can't wait to hear what you think when you get it!

I dont use any other make up then Bare Minerals, I use to break out so much using other foundations and this one really cleared up my skin! I use Summer's Eve feminine wash just to smell fresh all the time, Pantene shampoo and conditioner for thicker hair, Biosilk, Lash Out mascara by Lancome, Pink lotion by Victoria's secret and for perfume I use Givenchy Irresistable, so sexy!

I love a ton of products, but some of my all-time faves include:

    • Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief:  I use it as a night cream and I love how smooth it makes my skin feel.
    • Jergen's Natural Glow: I use this even in the winter so that I can look a little tan without actually tanning.  I'm all about the sunscreen, but I don't want to look super pale all the time.  This gives me a little color without the skin damage.  Just wish I liked the smell a little more.  I used to love Olay Touch of Sun, but I can't seem to find it anywhere.
    • OPI I'm Not Really a Waitress and Lincoln Park After Dark: two of my all time favorite polishes.
    • Blistex Daily Conditioning Treatment: I became somewhat addicted to this back in college marching band when we used to get free samples.  I love how it makes my lips feel and the SPF is a great bonus.
    • Benefit Eye Bright:  Makes your eyes look beautiful and bright.  It's like a nap in a stick. ;)

I just found this really great mascara called Imju Fiberwig mascara from Sephora. It's a Japanese brand and it forms like a coating around your eyelashes so no smudging or flaking for the whole day!  I love it. I used to get panda eyes by 10 a.m., but now my mascara is perfect!

@ jgibso27: Primer helps your make up stay on longer.  I love eyeshadow primer because it keeps my eyeshadow and eyeliner looking new all day.  Urban Decay's is amazing.  I've never tried foundation primer though.

Purpose face wash -- so gentle! Been using it for years.

Make Up Forever Aqua Eyes -- by far the best eyeliner pencil I've ever used. stays in place, beautiful colors, smudgeable & stays put if you tight-line!

Nars Laguna bronzer -- I am very fair and this is the one bronzer that does not make me look orange.

MAC Studio Fix Foundation -- doesn't creep, melt away or get cakey! Very light, gets rid of redness and imperfections, but doesn't hide my freckles :) Love it!

I love revlon color stay eyeliner. It stays better than any other dept store eyeliner I've ever tried. And it's only seven bucks,

I loooove opi nail polishes. I'm addicted.

I wear bare minerals matte foundation almost every day.

I don't wear lipgloss or lipstick at all because I feel it looks unnatural on me.

    Witz    August 2010

Aaah!  So excited about this post.  Not only do I love beauty products, but I also love to tell other people about them.  When I like something, I am like a walking infomercial for it. Here goes...

Clarisonic -- it really is worth the money; some people say it makes them break out, but I have no problems at all--I use it twice a day, every day and hate going without it.

Philosophy Purity face wash - it cleans my skin but never irritates it, no matter how long I leave it on, and it works great with my clarisonic.

Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum and Vinoperfect Day Cream and Vinoperfect Night Cream -- I love the way these smell and absorb into my skin, and they have improved my skin tone and texture.

Philosophy Microdelivery Peel (two steps) - probably not good for people with ubersensitive skin, but I LOVE this--it makes my skin super smooth and glowy.

Dermadoctor KP Duty and Scrub -- these really help to reduce those annoying red bumps on my upper arms.

    Laura Mercier foundation primer

    Urban Decay eye shadow primer

    Dior Mascara (any kind!)

    Laura Mercier secret camoflauge

Cle de Peau concealer -- wow, the coverage is so good, it's almost too much (but sometimes that's what you want).

Kerastase Masquintense (3) - I cannot live without this conditioner... I love the way it makes my hair suuuuper soft and silky and I love the way it smells.

And those are just a few of my favorite things!
