My engagement ring is VVS1 and my wedding band stones are between SI3-I1. I cannot tell a difference at all. The wedding bands are color G/H and my engagement ring is F. Since the diamonds in the band are smaller you cannot see any inclusions or anything and the color matches and it is very sparkly in my eyes!!

Not sure if the pictures make either ring look good as its a phone picture!

I think it’s gorgeous! And the stones in the band are small and you shouldn’t be able to tell any differences in the clarity. I was concerned before we bought mine but I don’t doubt my choice at all! Do you already have the band?

@ifheaven:  You sound the same as me! I doubt all of my decisions!! I’m currently doing that with my dress.

I will be wearing them together all the time.  Right now its in the safe waiting to be worn as my wedding isn’t until the summer.  I have no intentions of wearing them separately.

@ifheaven:  Haha I bought it last June! I haven’t had it altered completely yet. This picture is from the first fitting. Its funny your post has turned into our own conversation!

Do you have your dress yet?

for tiny stones you can hardly tell at all. the stones are too small to even see any includions! i think it would be silly to spend more on a clearer teeny tiny pave stone.

@ifheaven:  Good memory! It is Casablanca 1995.  Thanks! I love my veil! That was my purchase at that fitting.  Post your dress when you get a chance!

They are too tiny to see feather and clouds, by eye, yes, but the feathers and clouds will certainlymake them sparkle less, and they likley will look hazy.  And if there are carbon spots, you will be able to see those, even in melee.

poor clarity melee can look opaque white or sometimes even dark gray. It’s a decision you should make in person. Melee also comes in different cut qualities and this will affect the visual result.
