I DIY my BM bouquets & my own.

I kept it really simple, with white carnations for my BM, and white hydrangeas for mine.

$55 for my bouquet through my florist:

My bouquet was surprisingly cheap… and would have been even cheaper if it had been a normal size – like I asked for – instead of this HEAVY monstrosity.  :o)  It was vendela roses and white lisianthus (which is very cheap and so pretty!).

@7SEVENJ9:

Wow that is an amazing total price!

I’ve been scouting out DW deals (yes pre-propososal Embarassed) and I’ve noticed that their flower prices are RIDICULOUS!  I mean a couple of hundred for flower petals in the aisle!?

@AnnieAAA:  wow your flowers are so beautiful! If you don’t mind me asking, how many carnations did you put in one bouqet? We’re doing our own flowers as well. (carnations and white roses) 🙂

Thank you!

We had two bridal bouquets, a MOH bouquet, and a bout, and the total for all of that was under $250.

@babylo0n:  I don’t quite remeber, but I am pretty sure there were at least 12 -15 per bouquet, maybe more. I do remeber when I did a trial run, I thought they were still skimpy, and added more, which makes me think it was more then 12.

@babylo0n:  Haha, actually – it could be around 24? I’m sorry I don’t really remeber. Frown But good step doing a mock-up, because that was when I learned that I actually needed more blooms. The first pic I posted is of the top of them, which makes them look really full, I’ll add some more pictures of them from the side, so you can compare.

Allthough I don’t remeber, I know that it couldn’t of been more then 24, so if you have 25 and still think its skimpy, make sure the blooms are completely open (in my trial, they were all tight, so I put them in ice water to make them open up to their max capacity.) Also if you don’t bundle them so tight, they will be a little fuller.
