bmo88:  I love that!!

Unfortunately, we rent right now, so we can’t make any big, permanent changes, but we did get permission to paint after moving in to our new apartment in September. I’ve been on a decorating binge since we moved in, and we’re finally getting there.

Here are the before pictures of the living room. So disgusting.

And here’s what the same room looks like today:

We recently moved house and it was a probate sale. The house has not been redecorated since it was build in 1996 and an elderly couple were living there. our first job was the living room. We didnt have a very large budget so just new carpet and a paint job at first.

The second job was the kitchen. We have knocked the wall down to make a kitchen diner. We had a lovely moss green soiled carped in the dining area when we moved in. The new floor is being laid next week and we will get new cupboard doors put on our existing units.

I have also painted the bathroom. just need to get new cabinets and fixtures

That’s a great idea! I Have a useless nook like that too. Last year we painted it with chalkboard paint and the cats eat and drink there
