We are having a 40 person rehearsal dinner as well! These are our menus, they should arrive tomorrow. Our costs will between $600 and $800 for this menu.
@ MrsChubbyBunny LOVE your menu!! The design is fantastic and you have some really great options...something for everyone to choose from. And the price is incredible! Oh, and we're date twins! lol! Just a little over 5 weeks to go. I'm turning into a nervous wreck. How are you holding up?
@Casual Glam Bride: Oh thanks girl. I am ok... have lots of list haha. I love checking things off as they get done. It's the only thing that keeps me sane. How are you doing? What all do you have left?
Here's ours--
Top Sirloin with Port Demi-Glaze
Chicken Breast with Lemon Cream Sauce and Capers
Salmon Fillets with Fragrant Herbs and Lemon
Ricotta Stuffed Shells Marinara Florentine
@joy2011: *drool* port demi glaze? I'll just have a glass of that haha.
@Mrs.ChubbyBunny: haha. It's actually not as good as it sounds. :-/
I'm telling everyone to go with the chicken! (lemony, creamy with salty capers! yum!)
@joy2011: lol I would definitely recommend the chicken then. ;)

Hey Bees,
I'm a little over 5 weeks away from the Big Day and we still haven't finalized the menus! At this point I'm totally freaking out. We've been going back and forth with our chef, but still no final decision! We're having a pretty small rehearsal dinner....probably around 40 people...and the reception will be about 60.
We need some yummy, yet cost effective menu ideas. We're having a buffet style reception and I want to keep away from anything that will make it feel like 'cafeteria food.'We'd love to keep it around $40 per person.
Any good suggestions?
