I personally hate the idea of first looks. Like I’m really struggling with the idea of doing that instead of sticking to tradition and making him wait to see me. But our photographer would charge us extra to do formals after the ceremony and it would mean we would have to push the reception back… I’m slowly trying to get used to the fact that I’m probably going to have to do a first look, despite that it wasn’t what I wanted..

Also, I’m like really feeling confused about jewelry and shoe choices! I will have an antique sterling silver necklace but the hair accessoory I want it gold. So I’m feeling like.. confused.

And, I just saw my dress on “I found the gown” (like literally MY dress) and I had a wide range of emotions from “omg my gown that’s in my closet is on TV!” to “that b*tch needs to get out of my dress and quit touching it!”

I guess these are all minor problems that are kind of first world wedding planning issues. 🙂 Water off a ducks back, just gotta keep moving along!

Possibly having to rent a non-booth photobooth and end up getting the one that has the backdrop.

Obviously this is a luxury/first world problem. But, hey, we’re allowed to have those few moments to vent about them.

crisy003:  I felt the same about the first look too but let it go after seeing so many adorable ones, and the cocktail hour menu. 😉 Ill be starving all week, I’m not missing a chance to eat all the delicious food. Hahah

We ordered personalized pint glasses as our favors.  I was so excited about the design we picked and couldn’t wait for them to be delivered.  Well when they arrived, we opened the box to find a completely different (and BORING!) design.  When I called customer service, they told me that because I entered information into all 3 fields on the order form instead of the first and third, it automatically defaulted to the design they shipped and there was nothing they could do about it, however, they could offer us a 25% discount on that order or a future order for our troubles.  WTF?  I was fuming, because it was obviously their error…but then my bridezilla filter kicked in and I realized that it was just a glass, people were probably going to love them anyway, and there was no use in getting all upset when there was so much more to get excited about.

theshannondee: I feel your pain! I had a full-on, ugly cry meltdown on Saturday because the text for my favor tags and escort cards were printing off the edge of the tags/cards. No matter what I did, I couldn’t get it to print right. We finally figured there was something off with the spacing on the template on the Avery website. This was immediately following trips to Michael’s and JoAnn Fabrics to find self-adhesive rhinestones to stick on the escort cards and I couldn’t find them in the color and size I wanted.

First world problems.  I felt (and probably looked) a little like this:<br /> <br />

a lot of my friends from home (about 9 hrs away from the wedding venue) can’t make it to my wedding:(  I’ll hopefully get to see them at my shower, but I’m still so bummed!

I’m in the process of making letters for our guestbook table with our initials.  I forgot to buy the & symbol when I first bought the letters, and now I can’t find them in stock at Michael’s.  How will people know that we’re a package deal if there’s no ampersand between our initials?!  Now, I have to deal with it or stalk the inventories of my local stores in the hopes that they will restock soon.

I cannot figure out what jewelry to get. I have a elaborate headpiece and I dont want to overwhelm myself with accessories. I would love to try jewlry with the head piece but it won’t be in till August – wah!

i also thought I had my whole floor plan figured out until my FFIL got involved and now I’m considering 6 different ones.

i can hear the tiny violin now…

So my bridezilla issue is the guest list. I hate rectangular tables at wedding receptions. I’m all about round tables. Our hall will comfortably hold enough round tables for 500 people. Anything over 500 we have to incorporate rectangular.

We have sent out invitations to 531 people. My FI didn’t really understand my pet peeve so now im hoping 31 people reply with a no.

I’m anxious because of this!

I can’t buy the gorgeous garter I found on Etsy yet because the window for shipping is too wide and we’re moving in less than a month. I’m worried it won’t get here before we move and then it’ll be lost, so I’m holding off on ordering it. But *Veruca Salt voice* I want it now!!
