Hello everyone! I'm getting married in May of 2011 and have just officially decided on my wedding colors! Plum and Silver. (What really helped me decide was choosing the bridesmaid dresses!)
What are YOUR wedding colors? Is it possible to be OVER the top with only two colors?
I dont believe in over the top in weddings :D Ours have changed many times but the theme always the same CHRISTMAS! currently gold, red, green. But they were pink & gold and purple and gold
Mine are fuschia and orange. Thought they'd go well on a beach!
Mine are red and gold. Plum and silver will go beautifully together! And I obviously have no issue with just having two colors as that is all I have, but if you wanted an accent, I think a soft blue would look great with plum and silver.
Mine are Apple green and navy. This is my second wedding and got married the first time 10 years ago and did silver dresses with plum accents. It was gorgeous!!
If you want to be over the top, you could be over the top with one or 12 colors!
If you don't want to be, you don't have to be.
If you are looking for help with things, you could try posting specific questions about decor (table decor, ceremony decor, flowers, etc) or about clothing, and you'll get a ton of responses!
Plum & silver would be beautiful!
Raspberry, Blush and Gunmetal grey/silver (I swear it looks pretty!)
Purple and apple green, or purple and yellow. I can't decide!!
Purple (like royal or grape purple) with sunshine yellow accents. Possibly some silver thrown in there as well. And of course with black and white.

Black and White with red and aqua! And lots of polka dots! Yes... i consider them one of my colors. lol
@dance- thanks!! I was a little nervous about it for a wedding color but i'm completely obsessed with it!
Ours are mainly yellow and green with brown and white accents such as BMs dresses are brown, tablecloths will be white/ivory...very earthy feel is what im hoping for! But also bright and cheery at the same time!
I am just deciding, and I can't seem to narrow it down. I know I want gold and/or champagne, and perhaps some blush but I haven't really decided. I am also toying with occasional pops of purple but feel like everyone is using purple and I would rather avoid it.
Mine were brown and apple green. Great colors for a fall wedding, in my humble opinion.
Sage green and ivory! Here is my inspiration board:

I'm leaning toward this combination: mocha, a soft orange, and a darker ivory with flecks of red, and metallic gold. We haven't picked a date, but we're thinking maybe July 2011 also at this point; afternoon wedding with dinner reception.
Thoughts on these colors?

We're doing champagne gold and blush pink. Even though we both have very modern taste, I wanted traditional colors that wouldn't look dated 10 years from now.
mimi06d- LOVE the gold, cream and black too...I haven't seen those before. Very classy.

My colors are purple, lavendar and blue :)

I would LOVE to have a chocolate, eggplant, tangerine and chartreuse wedding! But future hubby wants purple, black and silver! UGH! He wants a "prom" I want a "wedding" lol! No disrespect to other brides that want "plum, pewter, platinum, silver, lilac, etc. He really wants the "prom" version of purple and silver, the fabrics he likes hurt your eyes! He has never been married before and I have so I am trying to respect his wishes in regards to every idea he has but I am trying to guide him towards "taste" and not "fantasy"! But I don't care if I have to wear an irridescent purple taffeta horror with a headband, as long as we get married I am overjoyed!
All white with hints of silver for the ceremony and black, white, and fuchsia for the reception!
My colors were Chartreuse and Turquoise. I thought it was a good combination for the beach
Fuschia and orange too!! Only, being a greedy little piggy, I am interpreting it as raspberry and apricot. With lashings of cream;)
