OK, so I had the worst wedding anxiety dream last night, listen to how wierd it was:

The wedding was indoors at this random reception hall (in reality it is an outdoor, tented wedding) and out of 200 guests, only 29 showed up! There were soooo many empty tables, it was horrible! Then my dress was cut practically down to my belly button, the store had made a mistake but it was too late to change it.  The florist refused to use my beautiful blue mason jars as centerpieces but kept putting the flowers in clear, plastic vases.  I finally went bridezilla on her and just kept shouting "It's my day! I can do what I want and I want the flowers in the blue mason jars!" Then a bunch of FH's friends showed up about 45 minutes late and FH saw me before the ceremony and the whole thing was a total disaster!

Whew, thank goodness it was only a dream but still...

Anyone else having weird wedding nightmares?

Oh I had a strange one last night too!

I am waiting for our venue to fax our revised contract so I can sign it and send in the deposit. So last night I had a dream that Kanye West (I had been reading about the whole Kanye West and Taylor Swift drama yesterday at work) had booked the venue for the same night as my wedding to throw a big shindig. The problem was that my wedding is going to be on NYE so moving it would mean 1) not being on NYE or 2) waiting a whole year. In my dream I was crying hysterically and asking the venue how they could just let him book it without letting me know. In the end I had to get married on Jan 1st.

Must have been something in the air yesterday to bring about these dreams.

I think that dream is just showing what your most concerned with!  Must of been a relief to wake up.

I have odd dreams about the wedding every once in awhile too!  I thought I was nuts because it is so far away still, lol.  My most vivid dream is that I show up to the location and I've forgotten everything, like EVERYTHING I needed.  But for whatever reason, going back to get it isn't an options.  Lord that would be horrible!

I dreamed that I had the flu on my wedding day, so badly I could barely stand or keep my eyes open. And the wedding was in Savannah at a mansion (it's not, in reality) and everyone had traveled, so we had to go through with it. In my dream, I wake up in a strange bed in the mansion, in my dress, covered in sweat and feeling horrible. Someone shows up and tells me that we already had the ceremony, I just kept my eyes shut through it and they put me in bed afterwards and that everyone was waiting for me to wake up for the reception.

One of my bosses (who is an attorney) was running the show, and doing a horrible job. I walk out to see that she left my cake in the hot sun and it was just falling apart. then I realized I didn't have a caterer, so I ran outside and starting frantically asking people to cater my wedding and a guy that owned a cajun restaurant agreed, but he had to go get his stuff. He showed up with a keg of homemade beer and three gallons of boiled shrimp.

When I woke up, I almost called the whole thing off.

I recently had a dream that I had a long taffetta veil covered in huge rainbow-colored polka dota and I was dead-set on wearing it...but my mom was urging me not to because she said it didn't go with my dress...but I wanted to anyway, and I think I ended up wearing it in my dreamland wedding.

I promise my fashion sense is better in real life!!

    :)

I think I'm a control freak, because all of my wedding nightmares consist of someone picking a heinous dress out for me and me being stuck wearing it, etc.!

I had one two nights ago about my veil.  I ordered the veil online through Etsy.  My dress is blush pink and the veil is in blush pink flowy material.

Well in my dream I get the box that the veil is in, open it up and it is HOT Magenta Pink and made out of the stiff birdcage netting.  To make it worse it isn't even a veil it is a shoulder cap shaw thing.

I'm not sure what that means, but I got an email the next day from the seller saying she was shipping my veil.  Gosh I hope it is what I ordered! LOL

    Hey Everyone!

I recently read a post on WB about the importance being mentally "present" during your wedding day. Just last week, I had a dream that I was "present" at all - and missed the entire thing!  By the time I came to (in my dream), everyone was saying bye and telling me what a great party it was... and I remembered NONE of it.

    Definitely scary!

@soon2be - okay... maybe that's what it means! Maybe I'm so stressed about all of the work that I'm not going to remember the wedding! Calming breaths!!!! Gaah!

@ starcharads: It KILLS me that Kanye steals your wedding venue. I snickered out loud at my desk. ^_^ Oh, Kanye!

I had a dream that everyone showed up but there was nothing planned. No food, no ceremony, nothing. Everyone was just standing around a damp, misty field glaring at me, and loudly whispering how it was the worst wedding they'd ever been to (I have no idea why we were in a field). Somehow there were a couple aisles of stuff from Target next to the field so I'm running around stealing stuff from Target for my wedding, including brown leather shoes to wear with my white dress. Insane. ^_^

I keep dreaming that I'm about to walk down the aisle and don't have my hair or makeup done or any shoes.

These are funny...I keep dreaming that the whole reception is over by the time my FI and I show up AND people come who were not invited.

Most of my nightmares involve our cats destroying all the stuff in the wedding room, including my veil and dress.
