Honestly I'm interested as I've been looking for feather centerpieces (not sure about the eiffel tower vases as I really like larger vases and I do already have vases I could use), but I'd definitely be willing to share the cost of the feathers they are less to ship as well. I just want to verify the feathers are white. Plus my wedding isn't until September 2012. Please let me know your thoughts. I live in Oregon zip code 97222
My wedding is 11-11-11 and I'm looking for these centerpieces too. I'm not sure if save-on-crafts is the cheapest website yet. But I'm willing to share the cost, shipping, etc. I live in Battle Creek, MI. I was thinking about just having 10 centerpieces if I can find something else for the other tables. So I may just need the feathers. I was thinking about purchasing black vases. Let me know your thoughts.

I have real ostrich feathers for sale: I used them in my wedding (July 2011). I used them as my bouquet and my decorations. I have 418 white ostrich feathers and 14 white eiffel tower vases. I am asking $500 for everything (not including shipping).

I'm an August 6, 2011 bride and am starting to seriously plan my centerpieces. I want to do white ostrich feathers in a 24" frosted eiffel tower vase with white LED lighting inside the vase. (example picture below).

I need about 15 centerpieces. I shopped Save-on-crafts and found that I can get:
15 frosted 24" eiffel vases
250 white drab ostrich feathers
150 plumes (about 26 feathers per centerpiece, so a pretty good full look)
15 white LED rope lights for eiffel vases
15 bouquet holders to hold the ostrich feathers
all for about $760. I don't really want to spend that much, so I'm looking to see if any bride or brides out there would like to purchase the centerpieces together, and then share! If you need more or less than 15 centerpieces, we could always split the cost of that as well.
If 2 of us go in on it together and split the cost, that would be less than $400 per person for awesome centerpieces! If we found 3 of us to do it, that would only be $253!!! Whoever needs the centerpieces first could ship them to the next person (we could split shipping as well). And when we're all done, we could sell them!
It would probably help though if we didn't have to mail them and if we lived close or relatively close to each other.
We could even do Paypal!
To eliminate any fears that I'm not a real person or that you're not a real person or that we might scam each other, we could exchange phone numbers, emails, facebooks, etc. Maybe even a written contract that we will both have use of the centerpieces? I don't know yet, but I'm sure we could work it out.
Let me know if you're interested in doing something like this. I haven't even run this by my fiance yet, so he may not even like the ostrich feather thing, but I wanted to get a feel of how possible it would be to do this before talking to him.
Thanks!
p.s. I live in Indianapolis, so an Indiana location would be a plus!
