(Closed) 'Shaving off' part of wedding band?

It may be tricky to find a jewler to do this.  I can see being worried about loosening the settings of the stones, and potentially having them fall out.  If that ring has a higher quality stone, I would be very cautious about doing something that might mean I would loose one.  Have you tried either ring on?  The band may not look as big on your finger as in the picture.

Its so hard to tell from online pics lol, before I got engaged I tried on a friends- it looked awesome on her hand, but made my finger look short and stubby.  If its really what you like I would go for it.  The other suggestion would be to talk to a jeweler about a custom made ring.  That would be your best bet for getting the best of both worlds.
