Ok bees, I’ve been settling my mind for a sheath dress. I am going to have it custome made. I am a conservative bride, even though I LOVE the look of sweetheart neckline I don’t think I could be confortable in it. Nor in a strapless. I need my cover up lol!
Anyways, I am also a young bride (will be 22 years old when I marry) and my face looks even younger (some people have said I look 15). I know make up will help me feel more bridal and less childlish, since I don’t usually wear it, not a lot anyways. The thing is I am looking for a sheath, non strapless and conservative look, that doesn’t make me look like a child!
Any ideas? I like this dress, but (as I said before) I don’t think I can pull the sweetheart neckline off.

I would start your search with cap sleeve dresses bc most of them are light like the one in the picture. Keep in mind necklines are easy to alter!

Hi! Where abouts are you located in the world anna?
I only ask because I work in a wedding dress shop, and off the top of my head, I can think of 3 dresses that fit your description perfectly that we have in the shop!! 🙂 xxx

Hi! I am a sheath bride too and I also did not look good in sweetheart necklines, I am getting my dress from Sarah Janks, she has a lot of sheath dresses but if you are in the US it may be difficult to find her designs.
Soft by Rosa Clara has some beautiful dresses that are non strapless with v-necks and scoop necks they tend to be more a-line like in the picture.
If you want something more form fitting I would look into fit and flare style dresses, allure makes some really beautiful lace ones that have sleeves.
Nicole Miller has some pretty dresses that will have that non poofy look that I think you are going for and most have sleeves or at least straps.
Hope this helps!
Maggie Sottero has a couple of sheath dresses too in a satin material.

I wouldn’t automatically rule out all strapless dresses.
I was also concerned about modesty, but I found that a lot of dresses with sleeves were cut even lower in the bust than some strapless ones.
I ended up getting a modified sweetheart (not low cut at all) and the seamstress used the fabric from my hem (I’m very short) and added a cap sleeve.
