Yes, my FMIL bought us the 10 piece all-clad cookware set!  It was almost $700, I am soo thrilled.  It also made me feel so much better about any issues I had with her previously.

You will love that.  I have had mine for several years and have never regretted spending the money on it.  Love, love, love it.  My favorite thing in my kitchen.

That is awesome, Bloodgo!

That happened to me. I put our red Kitchenaid mixer on the registry just so that we can get 10% off after the wedding but one day it showed up at my door, the week or so after our engagement. His Mother purchased it for us. I cannot tell you how excited I was and extremely shocked πŸ™‚

The professional model Kitchenaid was my dream registry item, from way before I was even engaged.  About a year before we got engaged, F and I bought a house.  I guess I had really talked up the Kitchenaid, because the day after our closing, I found a big package outside with the beauty inside!  My grandmother – who can’t live without her Kitchenaid – got it for us as a housewarming present.  I love, LOVE it and use it all the time.  Didn’t have any trouble coming up with a new dream registry item, either.  Innocent

I would love to know, ladies – which attachments do you have and love?
