My FSIL and her husband actually write a webcomic and make fabulous art together and we're working their booth (1 month before our wedding- EGAD, just kidding we planned it that way so they'd have time to destress before our big day!) Hello, hive. I'm new, but I've been lurking here and reading posts since I got engaged this last November. I finally got the nerve to register and post. I've been feeling the pressure of planning the wedding since my FH decided he wanted to get married this July! So a lot of our planning is going to feel very last minute. That's ok for us because we don't plan on doing too much with our small budget.
Anyway, let me introduce myself. I'm an art teacher in training about to start her student teacher semester. My FH is also in college and we will both be graduating with our bachelor's degrees this May. (All the big changes are happening at once!) I'm super excited to marrying Mr.Foolhardy. Part of me wants to skip the pagentry and elope, but I think we both want to try to pull our wedding impossible off one way or another.
To explain my username/avatar, Mr. Foolhardy and I are both uber-nerds/geeks at heart. We love comics, animation, and video games. I'm a DC fan and I especially love Batman. FH turned me on to pen and paper RPGs and I created the Foolhardy alias in a Marvel heroes campaign based off of one my favorite characters, Harley Quinn. I always felt it adequately described me. We are currenly planning a honeymoon at this year's San Diego Comic Con. Hooray for nerd love.
