Pictures soon ladies! I promise. Our pro pics take about four weeks but I am sure I will get a lot of the facebook pics in the next few hours and days to share. I'll bump this thread when they come in.
Congratulations! I'm glad to hear the day went well! I'm looking forward to seeing those photos!!!
At reception- centerpiece with bridesmaid in burgundy dress. These are not pro pics but you get an idea.
Congratulations!! The church looked gorgeous! So did your daughter!
OH wow everything looks so beautiful ... I'm so glad y'all had so much fun and such wonderful weather. How nice to have been walking by and hearing that music.
Thank you ladies. The photographer said that he took about a thousand shots- and we'll get those in a few weeks. I'll bump as detailed pics come in. The courtyard shots against old brick are nice too.

Our daughter was married on New Year's Day. This past weekend flew by in a blur. From the time the hairdresser came at 10am to the bubble gauntlet in the courtyard of the Villa (7:15pm), we all wondered where the time went. Great weather in Galveston- guests walked from the church to the Villa where the reception was held. Doors to the church were open so one could hear the strings from the street. All of the vendors showed up:-) I think that if I had to do it all over again, I would consider buying a package somewhere, but doing a wedding like this in pieces ended up with more for our money in terms of food, beverages, atmosphere, diversity of experiences, etc. It was hard to coordinate, but having a DOC was really a blessing! I really admire you ladies who are planning your own weddings and taking care of the details. And to those of you who have a parent helping... make sure you hug them tight when you say goodbye.
