lol I used to talk about an engagement with my BF. He never minded, but would never continue the conversation, he just let me talk. Then last week I stopped and yesterday he told me several times that he's going to start ring shopping sometime early next year. Even though its going to be a while until its official (because we're poor college students) it's still so exciting! So, vent to us!!!

PS. When I was a little girl "I Swear" was the song I told myself I would have as my first dance... I have deff. changed my mind since then, but I am totally loving the All4One reference!!
LOL'ing so hard. I just got a mental image of Ryan Reynolds singing to "I Swear" in a fat suit from Just Friends. We're here for you lady!
Mr. Tacos would probably try to orchestrate this. :/ He said just having that baritone guy would be good enough!
Haha! I had an engagement dream too, and kept talking about it and making (subtle) hints to FI, then he did it that day I was so excited but felt bad that I kept on him all day!!!! He said it really make a difference, he already knew he was going to do it! :)
One of my friends actually had All 4 One's cover of "So In Love" as the processional song... it was super cute. :)

Those are the worst! I had one last week where he got me an ugly yellow gold ring circa 1984, so I turned him down! Sounds like your dream was just as "special"
Although, last year I dreamed that my best friend got engaged, and a few months later it happened, so maybe wierd dreams are good?!
Is this a club I can join?
I've had a few proposal dreams and they are all HORRIBLE. Either horrendous timing (we are in the midst of a huge family feud at my parent's house and all-of-a-sudden he's proposing), or the ring is atrocious (something along the lines of osuchicka's c.1984)... it's never good.
Mr. Anemone laughs and taunts me with the only piece of engagement info I know: it will happen before 2010 ends. GAHHHH.

LADIES - it has become apparent I need to jump back ON the bandwagon and zip these lips! I had an engagement dream last night - again! I told Mr. Tacos this morning. He received it well and joked about hiring All 4 One to sing, and we talked about taking dance lessons.
ZIP IT TACOS!
