Weddingbee boards

I never thought it would happen. In fact I'm still shaking and walking around in disbelief. Last night after hanging around with some friends in the city and doing some cooking prep for our housewarming party next weekend. BF and I were loafing around on the couch, somwhere around 10PM. I was surfing the net as usual, and he scoots over to me and gives me a hug. My standard response (very lovingly, of course) is "Can I help you?" and he says, "Do I have an MO to be affectionate with you?" and I said jokingly, "Yes!" Then, out of nowhere, he pulled a little black box out of his jeans pocket, got down on one knee, and said "J, Will you marry me??" and opened the box to produce a gorgeous, Art Deco antique engagement ring!!! For about five minutes, I sat there alternately covering my mouth with my hands in shock and asking over and over, "Are you kidding?? Are you serious?? Is this really happening? You're joking right??" And somewhere in the middle of it all, I said yes!!

I'm engaged bees! I still feel like I was on "Candid Camera" or something. I'm still running on pure adrenaline and I could barely even sleep last night!!! Photos of the ring to come! Unfortunately neither me nor my new FI will be in any of them because I was literally wearing a white tshirt and a pair of leggings, and looked a mess :)

Thanks again to all the waiting bees who have hung in there with me along the way! I can't wait to keep up the congrats for everyone, and good luck to all the waiting bees!

Woooo! Congrats! Apparently I did the same thing too all I did was say "are you serious?" a zillion times & didn't answer him. LOL Can't wait to see pics. ;)
