I got these amazing Badgley Mischka Regine pumps off of Zappos. I only tried them on once when I got them to make sure they fit! They are gorgeous! <3 I don’t normally wear high heels and these are actually only 3 1/4 inch heels. But I also want to get shoes I can dance all night in too. I was thinking of getting a pair of pink or red glitter Toms for the reception. Bees, have any of you worn Toms? Are they worth paying the $54 for? And also, what do you do when the dance shoes would make the hem of the dress drag a little bit? Did people hem them up more? I just don’t want to make the hem too short when I am wearing the heels. And when I take the dress in for the bustling, will that help with the hem? And also, bees did you wear your heels all day and night or did you have another more comfortable pair of shoes?

@lovelylight99: IMO 3″ heels are the most comfortable.
I own 2 pairs of TOMs and they do stand up very well, the pink glitter are one of the pairs I have. I got them for a friend’s reception as a gift, honestly I don’t like wearing flats when I dance so I took the Toms off after the rambunctous bouquet toss and danced in my heels all night!
Also, the point of TOMs costing more is that you’re buying 2 shoes and one goes to a person in need. BOBs does the same thing if you’re looking to save money.
Your Mischka’s are gorgeous BTW 🙂
Regarding the bustle, mine works with ties so the ties are adjustable. My friend who bought me my first pair of Toms didn’t have that option and at one point she tripped on the extra length of her dress and fell!

Thanks! I thought the Badley Mischkas were gorgeous too! 🙂 I wasn’t sure if I needed to hem the dress the a little more if I am changing into TOMs at the reception. I may get the dress hemmed a little bit depending on where it falls with the shoes. The shoes are so gorgeous that I would love to wear them all night! 🙂 But then I know me and heels, we don’t get along that well! LOL Also, do the TOMs fit to your actual size or do they run small? I did some research on Google and the pink glitters seem to run a bit small. I suppose I could go with my normal size and exchange them if they are too small or vice versa. That is what I am afraid of that even with the dress bustled I will trip and bust my butt! LOL
