i have always wanted to get married in gorgeous, hot pink heels I could never justify the price for.  I found the perfect pair of louboutins- but have 2 problems.  1.  My fiance and I are the same height in bare feet and 2. I am getting married in the grass in a vineyard.  So what do you think: flats for the ceremony and outdoor photos, then change into the hot shoes for the ceremony- or just rock the heels that will make me feel awesome?  Thanks for any suggestions!!

I'm only about 3 inches shorter than my guy and on normal days it doesn't bother either of us if I wear heels that make me taller, but on our wedding I want to be shorter...

To each their own, but the heels (even in protectors) can and will get ruined in grass.

buy them for the honeymoon, b/ci think you'll regret being much taller w/out having to be, and ruining your expensive shoes in grass.  Or buy them for the bachelorette!  I bought some insane shoes for those, b/c WHY NOT?

how does your fh feel about you towering over him? if he doesn't care and either do you then go for the heels! if it's a little touchy rock em at the reception. if your dress is long you won't have much of an opportunity to show them off until then anyways.

It depends on personal preference, but on my wedding day, I do not want to be taller than my fiance.  We're about 3" different in height and I plan on wearing flats.  Also, it sounds like your shoes would get ruined in an outdoor setting.  I would stick with the flats.

I say, wear what you are happy in.  If you are taller in heels and he's comfortable with it, GO FOR IT! :)

I'm literally a foot and a half shorter than my guy and I chose to wear shoes that made me only 2 inches taller than I normally am.  I could have gone with ultra high shoes to be closer to his height, but I'm five feet tall and everyone knows it.

I went with princessy cute shoes that were totally me.

Be you girl!  Hot pink shoes and all. Laughing
