I think a deep purple flat would be amazing! But I also won't worry about if your taller then your fiance. If you really want to wear heels you should...but if you still wnt to do flats i found a couple that were cute....

I've been looking at some cute flats and kitten heels - we're almost the same height too. Your photog can probably find good angles even if you end up being slightly taller (your veil/hair might make it appear so anyway).
On the other hand, I have a friend who is noticeably taller than her husband (without shoes), and they didn't worry about it! They went barefoot for their beach wedding, then their photographer snapped photos of them naturally, but also some where the groom was on a little higher ground to even out their heights.
oh my gosh! where did you find the pair that have the stone on the top and the one with the bows! I love them both! Thanks for your help.
Wow i love both sets of those shoes! I would love to find shoes in that color but with a small heal!!!!

I am having a hard time. I have always been a high heel lover..really a collector. I have always dreamed of buying the perfect wedding shoes. This being said, my FI is the same height as me and I bought a dress that is just long enought with flats on... I'm not use to finding flat shoes and would really like something fun! My BM are wearing a dark purple and my dress does have some silver accents, but I would wear just about anything.
