So, I feel like I’m at my wit’s end when it comes to deciding on a pair of wedding shoes! I know I want a pair of flats (FI and I are the same height), and I know I want something in blush/light pink.
I thought I’d found the perfect pair:
But the more I think about it, they’re just not quite blush/pink enough for me. In fact, they can look downright tan, like in this picture:
After a lot of thought, I decided that, aside from the color, this pair is pretty much exactly what I’m looking for. I love the shape, the patent leather, and the simplicity. I just want something a little more pink. The trouble is, I can’t find a pair of shoes that meets these requirements! The closest I came was this listing I found during my google search:
But unfortunately, these aren’t in my size, and I can’t for the life of me find the original Marc Jacobs style! This pair would be perfect, though!
If you have any ideas, please, please, please send them my way! I didn’t think finding a pair of wedding shoes would be so difficult, but it’s been such a headache! Choosing a dress was so easy compared to this…..

Yves Saint Laurent makes a pair of pink patent leather ballet flats. They do however have a little heart cut in them towards the top, but I think would do the trick if you don’t mind spending the money on them.

I bought a pair of pumps once with huge ugly bows on them. After careful inspection I saw that I could take the bow off and wear them plain so I bought them and immediately cut off the bows. Maybe broaden your search (probably more so at local shoe stores) to pink flats with decorations because you may be able to take off the decorations and wear them plain.

These are listed as blush pink – might want to check them out in person!

Thanks for all the great suggestions, ladies! I’m feeling very encouraged. 🙂
@mwitter80: Those ballet flats are so adorable! But I do think they’re a little (OK, a lot!) out of my price range. Too bad!
@Melanie422: I love those! I’m definitely going to take a trip to Nordstrom to try them on in person!
@amnystik: I’ve never heard of gojane.com before, and thanks for sharing! They have so many cute flats, and they’re so affordable. I think I’ll go ahead and buy a pair (or two!) that I’ll use in my daily life anyway, even if they don’t work out for the wedding. Thanks for the tipoff!
