So when I bought my dress, I got a coupon for $50 off any accessories and chose a pair of shoes that I had them dye a dark grey (sterling):
I got them yesterday and…I don’t like them. I don’t like the color (it’s silver, not the dark grey I thought it would be), I don’t really like the style, and they’re a little big (that can be fixed). I don’t think they look very good with my dress at all (a billion pictures of my dress here).
My BMs are wearing blush pink dresses and champagne glitter shoes:
So I need new shoes, or an idea of what I can do to the ones I have to make them better. I want open toe or peep toe FLATS (or teeny wedges), but I can’t seem to find anything that’s not ugly.

Would these work for you, or too similar to the bridesmaids’ shoes?
Could you maybe jazz up the ones you have with some sparkle (glitter, rhinestones, a different shoeclip) or maybe have them re-dyed a deeper gray?

If you are just going to trash them, why not try painting them? I love the way mine turned out (sorry I don’t have pics right now). Use fabric paint. There might already be a paint that’s the color you want. If not, you can mix it. You can also make them shimmery with an iridescent paint mixed in or as a topcoat. I used sponge brushes for mine. If your don’t like the way your turn out, then you really haven’t lost anything.
Be sure to tape off your shoe bling before painting.

@PGsHotBride: I don’t know why I didn’t even think about this! I just found some glitter fabric paint that I’m going to try. If I screw them up, they were only $25.

I dunno if you feel inspired by these, but these are what I’m changing into for the reception: Adrienne Vittadini flats from DSW:
They are like a copy of the Vera Wang Lavender Luna flats 🙂

@MsVoyageur: Oooh, those are really cute! I’m going to keep those in mind if my painting plan goes awry.
