@milesbella: lol yeah those are the ones I had found last year, but they have been out of stock in my size (9) since last March, so I'm thinking I need to let them go. I can't find them in my size on any other site either, last I checked. Oh well...
Have you tried ninashoes.com? I got mine thre (navy blue) and the heel is under 3" and they are super comfortable. They have a zillion styles and colors!

I just looked around for a bit and came up with these which I think are great! With that said, they aren't quite what you are looking for. I think your best bet (and probably the route I'm going to take with my shoes as well) will be to get a dyeable shoe you really like then get them dyed at a local shoe repair shop or send them out. A local shop in my area does it for $20. This link will bring you to the "Dyeables" shoes and any bridal salon in your area that sells these should have access to any of these shoes (at least that's how it works at mine!). http://www.dyeables.com/?pg=home
You can also purchase this brand and others like it at http://www.onlineshoes.com/
I hope this helps!
Hmm, what about any of these? The prices are a bit all over the place because you didn't specify a range.
@ChemistryBride: Not sure if these are your style but these are amazing shoes! I have them in white!

@Krostom: I do really like those! I am seriously considering them, because the color is PERFECT and has the right heel height. Not open back, but I could add my own bling to them! Thanks for sharing!
@mrs_g.mck: I have been looking at Nina shoes, my issue is I am REALLY trying to avoid Navy for more of the cobalt, since my bridesmaids are wearing cobalt I don't want to clash with them. But I may have to open myself up to navy soon if I can't find what I am looking for!
@Aure: Wow, those are some gorgeous shoes! I really like the Nina ones and the Calvins. I'm still trying to avoid navy if possible since my BMs are going to be in cobalt too, but these are some awesome options in case I decide I can deal with navy! Thanks! And all those are fine price wise, I'm willing to go up to $150-200ish if I have to!
@motley11: Those are gorgeous! How did the sizing work for you?
Not much help, but I am such a fan of the royal/darker blue shoes! I hope you find what you're looking for :-)
I will say, I've had Nina shoes before and they are really comfy, especially for a more moderately priced shoe. I had a sparkly black pair for YEARS before they deteriorated.
I just bought these :
They aren't open at all, but they are super cute, CHEAP, and you could wear them again later on.
@Krostom: I'm looking into dyeable shoes, the one thing I am afraid of, I am reading that a lot of people say that the color bleeds when you sweat? Have you seen that before?
@ChemistryBride: I actually haven't heard this, but now I'm curious! Start another thread, ha!
@sooner365: Those are super cute! They have a lot of cute shoes on that site, but I am majorly paranoid because I know with at least dresses that they are a knockoff site. I'm not sure if it's the case with shoes as well...
@7SEVENJ9: Those are gorgeous! And apparently the whole world thinks so since none of them are available in a 9! Why do I have such a popular foot size!
Unfortunately I am starting to lose hope. I think I either need to see if I can deal with navy despite the potential of clashing with cobalt BM dresses, or accept a higher heel or a more neutral color. Bah, shoe gods seems to be failing me!
@ChemistryBride: I'm a June 2012 bride too and don't have my shoes yet either, it's okay! I'm going to write a post about dyeables so check it out if you are flirting with that idea :)
I'm looking for shoes for myself and keep coming across cobalt blue!
http://www.6pm.com/rsvp-dawn-french-blue-satin These might be more plain than you want, but you can always add brooches to them!

@7SEVENJ9: Question: I am currently drooling over some Menburs, do you have any in the midnight blue color? I can't tell if it's a navy or brighter.
Are Menburs comfortable? There are some ones I love that are a bit higher than I wanted, but they are soooo pretty I wonder if I can deal with a higher heel if they are pretty comfortable!
So I wound up being less picky about specifics and purchased these babies!
Menbur Bicci
They are much higher than I originally wanted (close to 4"), and the color is less cobalt, but they are so pretty and sparkly! So excited! Gonna be walking around in these all the time when FI is out! A bit worried about killing my feet, but it also gave me an excuse to pick up some pretty flats! Here are my flats:
Chemistrybride---where did you get your blue flats? I really like them and I am looking for something similar...
Sorry if this is posted twice---where did you get your blue flats?
@AOpalenik: Hey! I got them at TJ Maxx, the brand is Jessica Simpson. I don't know the style because I haven't seen them online at all, but I got them within the past month! I would keep your eyes peeled at TJ Maxx/Marshalls!
Hope this helps!

Hey Bees!
I am at my wits end trying to find shoes for the wedding! I'm being picky about heel height and color at the moment, which I may have to cave on one of those fronts soon to pick something. But before I give in, I thought I'd see what the bees could find since so many bees seem to be internet sleuths when it comes to dresses and accessories!
I feel in love with these last year but they have been out of stock since then in my size:
Any one seen anything similar?
Non-negotiables:
Things I am hoping for but willing to compromise on:
Thanks bees!
