So I thought it would be fun for people to post shoes they just bought! Wedding or non wedding.
I love shoes almost as much as I love the fiance ;) and I'll let you figure out which is greater :)
Really this is just a way to show off the new shoes I just bought, but I would love to see recent shoe purchases of the fellow fashion bees!
And I hope this continues to be a thread to show off your shoes!
I LOVE the architectural metallic gold heel on these! I just bought these beauties, bc it was Monday and they were $40 from $140 originally :) SCORE!

Here are the two, yes two, pairs I'll be wearing for our wedding! The strappy ones will be for the ceremony and the pumps will be dyed fuschia/cerise pink and will be worn for the reception!

Our colors are hot pink and green (grass-color), so naturally, I got hot pink shoes. After searching high and low all over the internet, I was still contemplating... high heels or flats? I saw these beaut's at the mall... $20. SHUT THE FRONT DOOR. I am IN LOVE with them. You can't tell by the pics, but they are ultra-shiny which matches the ivory taffeta of my dress!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE.

@SoontobeMrsC - I've been lusting after those for a while, I keep bringing them up, I just think they are SO fabulous! Love it!
@Fiftyfootbride - okay you are a woman after my own heart (shoe heart that is) I've been lusting after those mary janes for months. i just keep telling myself I'll buy them after, I'll buy them after! LOVE LOVE LOVE a pointy heel and and maryjane point heel! SHUT UP! As one of my favorite fashion people would say "I die" :)

I just bought these a few days ago and I absolutely love them but the only thing is that I usually can only at the max wear about a 2 " heel and this is about a 4 " heel. Soooooo I really need some practice!! lol im still debating if Ill actually wear them for the wedding or not.....
i sooo want to join in but i'm not engaged yet, but i know which shoes i am going to wear (i bought them last year for christmas and love them so much i can't imagine anything else) does that count? wait never mind that's just weird :P I will enjoy your posts until I can post my own :D lmao disregard the entire post I have had mushy engagement brain all day...

I absolutely love nina shoes! they always have great style.... ive been eyeing them alot on line...but dont really know how they fit...are they comfortable? despite the 4 inch heels that all the good looking ones seem to have?! lol

@crebre80 Show them off! This is for shoes in general. Don't need to be for wedding, I'm not wearing the copper ones for my wedding, I just bought them yesterday and wanted to show them off. This is a SHOE lover page, doesn't mean just wedding :)
So show those babies off :)
Here's the ones I still have in the box! They're so gorgeous and I heart my sister so much for talking me into changing our colorscheme..they will so fit perfectly but I swear. I so wanna be a 2 shoe bridie!

Woohoo!! These shoes were actually purchased because I saw them and gasped and had to have them, so I did!! I actually have recently decided that these should be my wedding shoes because I feel like a sex GODDESS in them. That's my right hand ring on them...

@fiftyfootbride I was thinking the same thing when I saw that picture! I could just imagine the balcony being up on a slope sort of... one of the shoes falling onto the other side of the balcony and then rolling into the water.
@fifty:LMAO they were at our old condo, we had a balcony from the master bedroom, below the balcony was actually a small patio. they would have fallen on the ground not in the pond. i think i would have sh.tted on myself if they fell though... although i love my picture (thanks to ms. mary jane's tutorial on how to take pictures of a ring) I think it was her?!
I'm not a shoe fashionista by any means, but I thought these were too cute. I bought them yesterday for $23. I thought about using them for our engagement shots.

@alishaneva - those blue shoes honestly they look like blue satin toe shoes for ballet. I used to own a pair. They are pretty easy to find you might be able to get them in just regular ballet flats models.

I am seriously in love with my shoes
They're "Libby Smith" by John Fluevog. I will wear these for photos, and possible the ceremony (if it isn't too long!). They are my dream shoes - like, I remember always wanted a pair of shoes like this as a kid.
These are my more practical shoes - Prima Ballet Flats by Crocs. They'll probably end up on my feet post-ceremony, as standing up for twenty minutes in the Fluevogs may be a bit painful :)
@ crebre80 - it's an unnatural obsession with rainboots that I have - everytime I see a pair I want them! And I just broke mine (the busted at the seam ... they were of course 4 years old so this is natural) and I now am DESPERATELY in need of a pair.
@TPHoliday - I thought that perhaps they were toe shoes, too. I used to dance ... but there's no way I'd be prepared for pointe in my wedding dress! Haha. But also the shape of them seems slightly different ... I'm sure I could find regular ballet flats like this - I'm going to ask the girls at my local dance store if they've seen any come through or in a catalog. Thanks!
