If they're uncomfortable anyway, I would just return the dyable shoes. Who wants to be in pain all day? My complete sympathy on finding shoes. It took me forever to find a cute pair of blue ones! I was really surprised by the selection at Coldwater Creek - where I never would have thought to look. Otherwise, I'd suggest hitting the closest mall (as much as I hate them!). The teen set is loving colorful shoes right now, too, so you might find something there - and at least you'd get to try it on!
Good luck!!
You don't like the apple green Nina's that everybody has been posting? They're so cute!
Since you don't have much time, I highly recommend shopping on zappos.com. You will get your shoes in only a day or 2 and they pay for return shipping if you don't like them. Charge a few pairs on your credit card, pick the ones you love, send the rest back, and get refunded at no cost!
Here is the search I did for green shoes:
Go to Zappos.com. You can buy and return within 360 days and they have shipping both ways for free. It took me five shoes before I found the perfect pair and trust me, one of the girls at my husband's work did the same before finding the right pair of shoes for her. I bought dyeables which were great and comfortable at the same time.
Here are the cutest Apple Green Shoes........ http://ninashoes.com/electra-fuchsia-luster-satin--13742
If those Nina's were'nt 100 bucks they'd so be in my closet!!!

I am having the worst luck ever with finding a shoe for my reception dress! See past post here: http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/what-shoes-to-wear-with-this-dress
I really want apple green shoes, I can't find anything I liked or that's the right color in stores.
Pair #1: I found some white satin shoes that I thought I could dye and ordered them from a website. They turned out to be HUGE.
Pair #2: So I ordered another pair in the next size down and they fit, but even wearing them for 5 minutes leaves huge red marks on my heels and top of my big toe--yikes! I've heard of that Band-Aid shoe stuff but I don't think that would be enough. I ordered the only dye that I could find in the right shade but the instructions are kind of scary sounding. I need to wet the "garment", then mix the dye with salt and water, then dip the "garment" in them, let them dry then wash them, etc etc. I'm just scared to do it because if it looks bad or ends up the wrong shade of green I've just ruined a $60 pair of shoes that I can no longer return. Not mention they are horribly uncomfortable anyway...
Pair #3: I found some ADORABLE green shoes on eBay that seemed perfect! I got them yesterday and they are incredibly small! Everything about them is small, it's like my feet are too wide, too big, everything. There's no way I can fit my foot into those.
So my dress alterations are in 5 days, I'm out of time to order anything and have it ship here and I have three pairs of shoes that I pretty much can't wear. I know I can just pick out any shoe to wear for the alterations but I have to commit to a shoe height then--and then that really limits me further as to finding the perfect shoe, in the perfect shade of green, with an exact heel height that matches what I picked out. I honestly don't really know what to do. I really really wanted green shoes :(
I think I am going to lose my mind. I hate shoes.
