So I do not know how to decide which shoes go best with the dress. My wedding is in August in very hot weather but I think if I wore shoes or maybe peep toes, it would look better under the dress. The dress is like a beige colour with mother of pearl and some bling. Im afraid that white will be too white for the dress, if I go for a badgely mischka shoe with the buckle in front, it would clash with the dress, I am hating the idea of going with plain nude shoes..but if that is the only option, maybe go for louboutins, so that I will have the red sole or maybe the red sole will be too much? Im so confused. The lace is white but since the tulle underneath is dark beige..its more a champagne colour overall. I also love love love shoes with lace, but I also think it will clash with the dress, being that the dress is lace from top to bottom. I fell in love wih these badgely mishka but I cannot see them in person coz there are no shops in the country stocking them and Im not sure if although they are plain are still too fancy being glittery and also if they are the right colour. Please help and if any of you have any suggestions. Thanks! Pics of my dress and the shoes. (now im putting them next to each other I dont know – maybe silver pumps are better?) The dress wont be here until next year so can only compare with pics.

niki2015: Your dress is GORGEOUS. I wouldn’t worry too much about your shoes. For one they won’t be seen because your dress will cover them and 2 you can pretty much wear any color, style of shoe you want. So many brides opt to go that route. The shoes that are posted IMO would be just fine. Good Luck.

Your dress is absolutely stunning! I agree with PP; your shoes won’t be seen so the ones you’ve posted would work. Or choose whatever suits your fancy the best!

Sweetescape1976: Honu_36: Thanks! I just read a review about the shoes that since it is not smooth, everytime the bride who wore them moved, the tulle underneath got stuck to the shoe…and since I have lace, I dont want to damage the dress with the shoe..I know at the end of the day, the dress wont be torn free but at least it wont be because of the shoe.

niki2015: If you are open to spending big bucks (some are on sale now), Freya Rose makes wedding pumps with a mother of pearl heel which would be stunning with the beading on your dress. They can also be dyed.
she also makes a mother of pearl shoe clip
