So, I ordered the most amazing pair of hot pink satin peep toes for my wedding.  However, when I went for my dress fitting and tried them on for a while, I realized they killed my feet!  They're mostly too tight in the toe/ball of my feet area.  Does anyone have any suggestions for how to get them stretched out so I don't want to chop my feet off before I even walk down the aisle?  I'm sure I can take them somewhere and have them done, but I'm lazy and it'll probably cost an arm and a leg.

    Help!!!  Thanks!

Rub rubbing alcohol on the inside of the shoe at the spots that need stretching.  Then put on the thickest socks you have (or multiple pairs) and wear the shoes.  Walk around a lot, and they should stretch out.

I would take them to a cobbler to get them stretched.  I have done that a few times and it works great.  It only costs like $10 to get them stretched.

You said your shoes are made of satin; that may be harder to stretch.  Usually satin does not stretch.  Let us know how it works :)

Thanks for your input ladies!  I've decided to go the professional (lazy) route and take them in to a shoe repair shop.  I found one that will do them for $7.  Can't beat that!  Keep your fingers crossed that they turn out all right!

You can also buy your own shoe stretcher - I got a fabulous one online - then you'll be ready the next time!

I ended up taking them to have them professionally done.   I think it worked.  I haven't worn them long enough to really tell.  I think I"m going to get some foot petals too just to be sure they're as comfy as possible.
