white satin pumps! white satin d'orsay pumps. in the fiftites, a clear white -- snow white -- was more the thing. with that delicate pink, a true white would be knock-out!
Yep I'd do a peep-toe pump. Payless, David's Bridal have some for cheap cheap. I'd put white pearls for my jewelry to tie it all together! I've found some really pretty ones on Etsy
I definitely have to agree with the white shoes. I really think a true bright white shoe would really pop with that great dress.
emshaw: love 'em!!! they go perfectly! so 1950s-- but also now.
Oh I LOVE those shoes! Get 'em girl
ahhh I wish I could still wear heeeeeeeeeeeels. I'd be all over them in a heartbeat.
Yes on the peep toe. White works and the ones you have pictured are great. If you go colour, maybe a pale green...just a thought.
Some white satin pumps with embellishment and a retro look should complete this! How about white and pink flowers? And white and pink polka dot ribbon for the bouquet too?
This is from RSVP and the shoe is super comfy w/foot petals made into them on Zappos and on sale. How about adding to them some pink rhinestone clips like this?
Here's where to find these clips (30 bucks): http://www.absolutelyaudrey.com/Juliette_pink_rhinestone_shoe_clips_p/sc0033-pnk.htm
Oh man, I would look for white heeled mary janes if I were you.... but I'm a sucker for all things 50s. :)
I think peep toe pumps or Mary Janes would complete the look. The dress is awesome, btw! Love the retro look!
I think the shoes I suggested with the vintage looking shoe clips will give all the glamour of the vintage 50's look! And the pink and white bouquet with pale pink and white polka dot ribbons would look great!
A bouquet like this:

with some ribbon like this to make it fun and retro:
(get right shade) and this is organza ribbon!
and white kid gloves :D with a short blusher <3!!! i LOVE your dress btw!!
Thank you soo much for your ideas ladies. I totally now have a vision for the entire outfit! I'll keep you posted after I make the purchases : )
@bellenga: I'm swooning over those shoe clips, tres adorable!
That is beautiful! Some pearls would look really classic too. Loving all the shoes...looks like you have a tough decision :)

Hello lovely Bees!
I am hoping to get some help with finding accessories and shoes that co-ordinate with my lovely 1950's dress.
I have no idea what color would work well. I always thought I'd have a white dress and pair it with brightly colored shoes but now I'm puzzled!
Our day is going to be vintage inspired DIY. We're having an outdoors wedding... Ceremony on a dock at a lake and reception in a woodsy area.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
