I think that's definitely a good idea. Since it's floor length, the shoes won't be very noticeable. More importantly, I'm sure your bridesmaids will really appreciate being able to wear shoes that they like and are comfortable in (especially if they don't have to by new ones!)

I guess I didn't think it would be a big deal until I started reading posts on here about shoes.
I am having the BMs wear Alfred Angelo #7017 in navy with sunshine accent. They will be putting the straps on the dresses. I told them for the time being that they could wear anything that looks classy with the dress (as it is floor length) and that I want them to be comfortable. I also said no flip flops...should I pick out shoes or do you think these guidelines are good enough?
