Ok, yall, so here’s the deal-one of my dear friends, whose opinion I value greatly, told me that if she could do one thing over (for her wedding) it would be wearing open toed shoes (she wore them, wished she wore closed toe). She said pictures are hit or miss (she said when just the front of the toes pop out underneath the dress and she assured me, they would, that it looks really weird) and that its best to just go closed toe all the way.
I can see it, because if you look at anyones toes from the front (not the top, so a pedi wouldnt change the outcome, its that interesting little fleshy part, between the nail and the bottom of the foot) it looks really strange-but has anyone else regretted wearing open toed shoes? I would assume not, because I cant find a pair of close toed shoes to save my life!

Well I have never heard that complaint before!
But I also don’t have a foot problem and don’t mind the look of toes haha!
Go with what you love this seems like a very minor detail.

My shoes show my entire foot, not just my toes… But I have a ballgown skirt so you can’t see my feet at all. I love flip flops so I figured these would be the most comfortable shoe for me. Plus, they were SUPER cheap!

I wore open toed shoes and didn’t think twice. I think my feet look fine, though…nothing a nice pedi didn’t spruce up =]

um i wound up wearing flip flops since the shoes i bought were MURDER on my feet. you can only see them in one picture!

I had to have peep toes. I love colored toenails and wanted to show them off. But with a peep toe you get a bit of the shoe as well as toe.
Your post totally made me laugh. My sister has a near foot phobia and your “toe flesh” story would totally gross her out : )
Wear the shoe that makes you comfortable.

I’m wearing a shoe similar to the shoe posted above.
mine have blue soles, actually 🙂 but yeah i think that’s kind of ridiculous. it must just be a personal thing that bothered your friend.

It’s weird the things you become pre-occupied when you’re a bride! Thanks for all your feedback, when my friend starting talking about toes, the only thing I could think about is, if my toes poked out of my dress, if they would look like little mini sausages (I don’t have the most beautiful feet-thanks to years of soccer and softball!)
Does anyone else find stupid things to get obsessed about? Im now kind of having anxiety about whether or not ill do my standard VS miraculous bra (just found out they were making them in strapless) or keep my girls in a good old standard strapless (with no padding! yikes!) Is this bridal brain?
