My shoes were a darker shade of ivory than my dress, and at first it bothered me, but after awhile, I actually grew to really like it.
i only worry that when the do the garter throwing ceremony everyone will see that it doesnt match and smack talk...like i have heard ppl do about unmatching veils...
other than that 5 min ceremony i doubt anyone will even see my shoes
Your guests won't notice your shoes at all. Most people can't tell a difference between white and ivory anyway.
I have champagne shoes and an ivory dress and veil and I think they look ok together (not seen it with my actual dress yet but other ivory ones).
Also these days you can have bright blue/green/rainbow/whatever tickles your fancy shoes and no one really cares....
That said I have had a few odd reactions when I say I am wearing flats hahaha thou seriously if they had ever seen me in heels they would know why cos I am clumsy and generally heels last about 10 mins before I kick them off hahaha
thats true but....when its next to each other its pronounced....like i cant tell the diff between white and ivory until they are next to each other then one loooks wayy more yellow

ughhh i have my first fitting the 12th and shes hemming the dress so she said i have to have the shoes already....well so i bought shoes that my FI looooves. which is good rite? only problem i was thinking they might be a wee bit too ivory for the dress so i went to my bridal consultant and she gave me a piece of fabric...brought it home and ofcourse the LIGHT IVORY fabric does not match the ivory shoe.... my FI says to just stick with the shoes that it looks fine and he ¨likes the shoes¨ but to me it looks obviously not the same shade...though i dont think i actually will find this shade....id have to get them made for me, which, i could do BUT would be impossible to have for the first fitting which i need them for...
I am OCD (literrally have OCD) so i may just be obsessing over the color not being EXACT... but honestly i dont think so ....
so heres the question, stay with the already bought ivory shoe the FI loves
or have new ones custom made since its doubtful ill find the exact color....
would it not being exact bother u ladies???
the dress is light ivory and the shoes ivory....
help!
