i was planning on going with a short stacked heel or a little kitten heel. i think it depends on your height and comfort level. i love the Lia Bijou 'Fuler' Slide at Nordstrom - super swank!
We got married on a grassy island in a park and I wore flats for it. I was going to wear heels for the reception but the flats were way more comfy so I wore them the whole night. Here are my shoes:

I have 4-inch heels. Whoops! Silly Jean! I'll have to get those little things to stick on the heels to keep me from sinking into the grass... and I'll have back-up shoes if that fails. I wanted the heels because I always have better posture with 'em on. No slouching for wedding pictures! Here they are in all their purple glory:
I was just thinking about what shoes wouldn't sink into the grass after seeing all the drool worthy shoe posts...
@bluegreenjean please share your secret!!
They're called Soul Mates. I found out about them from Mrs. Flamingo's post. I love Wedding Bee!

What about wedges? They are cute and still give you the heighth and posture :) There are soul mates and another kind too that are a little bit fancier!

They almost look like golf tee holders though Lol! I think this one is Belledivine and they have lots of designs :)
OMG, how cool are those?? I'm having an outdoors wedding on a lawn and I was freaking out wondering if I'd sink every step I walked down the aisle (no aisle runner, just flowers). You guys saved my life! Thank you!
I wore these- white, sling-back, wedge heel, peep toe. They are from Naturalizer so they were super comfortable- I was able to wear them all day/night as well as traipsing through the woods for photos!
I'm going to be a two shoe bride -- ivory, wedding-y ones for our (church) ceremony, and then funkier, summery wedges for a walk (and pictures) through the city (Philly) and our urban art gallery reception. I wanted support and comfort for the latter, as well as something I'll use again after the wedding!
Hi Girls -
Can anyone attest to which product worked better? I'm inclined to try SoleMates, bc Ive hear really good things about them and seen them on some friends' shoes but I dont want to miss out on anything if there is something better. The place where I got my dress said they can get them for me, but i dont know. I have time. Just want ideas!
I will def be in heels! I think wedges are awesome, but not for my wedding day!
I'm planning on wearing wedges or espadrilles. I'm looking for something with less than a 4in heel though so as to be a bit more comfy and not draw too much attnetion to my clumsy self. The hunt contimues...

I know there have been some older posts on this, but I thought I'd do a survey and see if any recently or soon-to-be married outdoor brides could link to the shoes that they're going to wear. We're going to be a lawn that will possibly be damp, so I need something in white (or pale blue) that has a solid heel (if any heel at all). What have you guys found?
