I had some flat/small wedge sandals I planned on wearing at our beach wedding, but ended up just wearing some Old Navy flip flops during the ceremony. You can't see them in any pictures and no one noticed. I do have some pictures of my nephew putting on my "fancy" shoes before the ceremony so it looks like I wore them.
I didn't wear them on the beach but could have since they were flats and they were fancy! Here is a pic!

Do you have to wear shoes? If I was getting married on the beach, I would want to be barefoot!
@spitfire229 I had to wear shoes because I had altered the length according to my shoe height etc.
I wore some pink wedges from Nordstrom....the wedges worked well in the sand although I only wore them for the ceremony. Once that was done I took them off so I could move better on the beach for pictures. I'm only 5'3" so I needed all the height I could get.

I bought there for my upcoming beach wedding. I needed something low heel since I didn't order extra length on my dress.

@shell3879: I'm wearing something very similar to yours. They are BCBG, maybe an inch higher, with crystal flowers instead of fabric roses. I need the height because my groom is 6'3" and I am 5'6".
Oh, and I found them at Marshalls for $20.

Hey bees,
so i got my dress - maggie sottero Jenna (see pic) below. and now i have been racking my brain as to what shoes to wear since i am getting married on the beach!! can you post pics of what shoes you wore for a beach wedding while wearing a fancy dress? or any recommendations since i obviously can't wear heels and walk on the sand.
