Actually, I think either gold or silver would work equally as well. Gorgeous dress and color!
I agree - either color would work great! Maybe poll your bridesmaids and tell them you'll go with whichever color gets the most votes (if you're letting them pick their own shoes, there may be one color that many of them already own - cost savings for them!).
I am with either as well -- but if you are against using metalic what about champagne.
I say let them wear either, and let them choose the heel height since these are shoes they may never wear again. Most of your pictures are going to be from waist-up, unless they're full body pics which you wont notice the shoes much anyway.
Are they long or short dresses?
Either metallic would work, champagne included. What are you doing for jewelry? That might help you decide.
Yep either would work, but I do think gold would warm the ensemble up nicely, so I side with the dress designer.
Personally, I like silver better. Or you could do tan/beige.
Gold, silver, gray, pale pink, beige
You might give a guideline to get flats or wedges since it will be in a meadow. You don't want them sinking or stumbling, and some girls might be more sensible than others ;)
Here is the shoe that I am using for my bridesmaids and it comes in black (which I think would be gorgeous).
Thanks girls! The input helps a lot. I was just browsing around and I found these really cute satin light gold sandals. I am loving them!
I have to agree with the girls so far, regarding the colors, what jew. color they would be wearing, and I really think the shoes in the 1st picture are a LOVELY pair to have your bridesmaids wear with that color dress! They are perfect, in my opinion! By the way, the dress color is SO PRETTY! Ask the dress designer where he/she got those shoe, save a lot of time/looking!!
And if you haven't heard about these already.. I highly recommend getting your bridal party (even yourself) Soulmates since its going to be a medow/ grassy area.. maybe as part of their gift... for more info about Soulmates if you haven't heard of them yet, go here --> http://www.thesolemates.com/ ! They come in handy, help you from sinking in grass and also keeps the heels clean, among many other things!
This is a perfect gift for them too: One-of-a-kind, customized, designer shoes. These are mine and I LOVE THEM!
In Vegas; they were a hit! I get tons of compliments everytime i wear them!
As a BM I will be wearing silver, gold, chamoagne metalic shoes at three different weddings this summer, so I can tell you that metallics are a great way to go and give the girls a good chance of wearing them again! I loved the light gold shoes suggested, but have one caution: If they are picking their own shoes instead of all buying one, golds tend to be much more difficult to match tone-wise than silver in my experiecne. But if that doesn't bother you, than you have nothing to worry about!

Hi!
Please help! I need to figure out what style and color shoes my bridesmaids should wear. I was thinking of giving them a little leeway in that like "gold strappy sandals with a heel under 'x' inches".
Anyway - here are the dresses, long gown for MOH and I have four other bridesmaids. Wedding is outdoors in a meadow/valley with green mountains in the background.
Dresses are in the "sugarplum" color you see in the photos. I am thinking of a pink and green wedding scheme.
Please let me know your ideas + post pics if you have any :)
ps- lady at store said silver, but this dress designer said gold is better, I'm confused now. Not set on metallics- but figured it would be easier, if they are all buying slightly different shoes.
