Hey ladies– I’ve been searching forever and just thought to consult with you all. I’m having an outdoor wedding in September, and have to walk across a large lawn and up a grass aisle to be married, and don’t know what to do about not sinking my heels into the grass! I’m not usually a heels kind of gal anyway, but the length of the dress (and my mom!) kind of demand at least a one inch heel. The ivory dress is long enough to cover my feet, so I was thinking a wedge heel sandal? I know people have been posting about those clean heel ‘attachments’, but has anyone tried them? And overall, I’m on a really tight budget and was hoping to spend $50 or less on the shoes. Has anyone seen anything that might work? Help out there??!

I’m also having my wedding in September on a big grassy island and I bought some cute white flipflops with crystals on the straps that match my dress. I chose not to wear any heels because I didn’t want to be taller than my fiancee, lol. If you have to go with a heel then I think a wedge would be a good choice. I paid about 30 dollars for my shoes.

i would go with a wedge or just a shoe with a thick heel. a lot of shoes with 1" heels would be thick enough so that you wouldn’t sink into the grass. you shouldn’t have too much trouble finding a pair.
here’s a list from a quick search i did:
pair 2 these are really cute!
pair 3 these are 3/4"
there! good luck 🙂
