Definitely tan. I think the white would clash and make the color of the suit look dirty.
Agreed with the ladies! Tan would look great. White would stick out and wouldn't look too good. If you did do a white/tan combination, make sure there's more tan and barely any white because there's not too much white, other than the vest, on the suit. Good luck!
TAN! White men's dress shoes often look plastic-y.
Thanks! I agree with you all.. I like tan better, but my FI was only looking @ white shoes. That isn't the exact suit, but it will look very similar with a light yellow tie. Also, my dress is off-white, so the white shoes may clash.

I'm suprised you can't find affordable nubucks. Oxfords are pretty traditional shoes. I googled them & found a pair in brown at Target for $35. I didn't really check the site but I bet they come lighter. The link's here.
i dont know, my man wore a jacket like this and rocked some white shoes! he looked good. but they weren't shiny Cousin Eddie papa georgios, though. They were Bass or Rocksomethingorother brand.

My FI has recently changed his mind from all the boys wearing sandals with their tan/white seersucker suits to wanting dress shoes. He is dead set on nubucks (suede) but can't find any nice and affordable ones. Also, which do you think would look better... tan, white, or a tan/white combo?
