So, the exciting thing about my dressmaker having sent me swatches is that I can start looking for accessories. I didn’t want to before because I didn’t know what shade the piping was going to be. Now I have it, and it’s a gorgeous teal. So I was futzing around on Etsy, and found these. What do you think?
I’m a little wary, since I can’t return them for a refund if I don’t like them. But I haven’t seen shoes that I like this much, in that color, anywhere else. I CAN exchange them for a different size if they don’t fit, and I like that they come in Wide.
If I did get them, I could get it with or without the peacock feather. I’m on the fence about that. I don’t (yet) have any other peacock elements in the wedding, although I could go that route and pick a hair accessory with peacock feathers. Thoughts?

The shoes are gorgeous!!! BUT, that being said, I think thats ridiculously expensive for what they are. I think you could achieve the same look with dyable shoes and a shoe clip with or without the feathers.

I would be a little worried about getting these shoes, for the fact that if I try them on and they were very very uncomfortable I wouldn’t be able to return them.

@Krises: I agree. They sell the dyeable shoes at endless.com. I got that same style, minus the clips, for around $50, and dyed them myself. It’s a gorgeous shoe, but you can do it yourself for way cheaper that they’re asking. They probably got the shoes from endless, dyed them, and added the feather.

I second the DIY method! You can totally get dyeable shoes and add on the rhinestone brooch and feather yourself!

Thank you all for these tips! I knew nothing about any of this. 🙂
