if you want height go for a platform so you are more comfortable wearing them all day!
I have the same problem! (the TOO tall boy!) I bought a pair similar to this one on DSW. I also have flats for after pics as i'm sure my feet will be dead by then!
and if you really want some height these are pretty amazing....
Depends on what your colours are. I love the Irregular Choice shoes because they make them in width-and-a-half sizes (ie they are extra wide as standard) and they fit my feet really well. Not exactly traditional though!

Anyone have suggestions for shoes to go with my dress? I'm 5'2" and my FI is 6'2" so I should probably wear heels so it's easier to kiss him!
