So.. i have spent countless hours online looking at wedding shoes… It’s becoming an obsession….
Originally I wanted blinged out shoes I feel in love with the benjamin adams ( but they only come in ivory, my dress is diamond white)…I know that there are shoes out there you can have someone put real swavorski on them but its like 800$ for it… but I also didn’t want to spend 30$ on shoes that don’t have that “quality” of sparkle ( no glitter… confetti…). I thought about DIY a pair of shoes… with the crystals myself… but I’m afraid I’ll mess them up…. anyways…
I finally bought a pair of shoes online….
Badgley Mischka Elia in white and
and also just bought
Pour la Victoire Ajax in red
I dont know what to do… My accent color is red and have a occuring theme of “bling” as well….
I was thinking of getting swavorski crystals and doing the heels on what ever shoe I keep?
Thoughts??? I want to stop obsessing over shoes… it’s silly ….haha… help me make a decision! lol

I love those Badgley Mischka ones, I think you did a great job chosing them!

I LOVE the BMs. I think they have just the right amount of sophistication and sparkle. Beautiful.

My Fiance proposed with blue Manolos last August (main reason why I said YES, just kidding…haha), and I just bought a wedding dress last month (about 4 months before the wedding) due to a panic attack that I might not have a dress. The first gift FI ever gave me was a shoe charm necklace. All this background information is to prove that I am equally shoe-obsessed, way way way before there was even an utterance of a wedding. So I understand your countless hours of internet “shoe research.”
As someone who’s been lured one too many times by shoes based solely on their fabulousness, and then realized that they are not good for anything other than walking from the car to dinner, in my wise old age, I have self-instituted a new shoe commandment: Thou shall not bring home shoes that are uncomfortable, no matter how fabulous (because I know they will spend the majority of their lives in the closet and not parading around town, like fabulous shoes should…)!!!
I’ve never tried on Badgley Mischka shoes, though I think they are gorgeous–but I’ve heard from many reliable sources (other shoe fanatics and shoe sales people) that BMs are not comfortable. I can’t imagine you want uncomfortable shoes for your wedding, even if they are super fabulous. However, everyone’s feet are built different, and shoes that are uncomfortable for me may be very comfortable for you. I highly advise you road-test which ever shoe you go with.
I’ve never tried on Pour La Victoire, but my friend N says they are pretty comfortable (and she’s had ankle surgery).
I vote for the red Ajax, based on good reviews from friends for the brand, and because I like color shoes for the wedding photos and the appeal of timelessly sexy red shoes 😉
Hope this helps, and GOOD LUCK!!!!
