Wait - Is it not immediately following the ceremony? I'm confused.
"immediately following the ceremony" is a time.
As long as your have a website or something else along those lines that explains the time, I don't think you need to write it in anywhere.
the ceremony is at 2:30 the reception is from 4-9pm, so, yes, it IS right after
I agree with MissACS... if it's "immediatley after the ceremony" you don't need a time.
You DO have the time of the ceremony tho right??
I'd leave it as is. Is the ceremony in a different location than the reception? Even so, the guests should be able to figure it all out. They're most likely going to go to the reception location automatically anyway. Or, maybe you can have someone, a groomsmen, usher, the officiant even, mention as guests are leaving the ceremony the reception will begin at that time.
I think just having immediatley following the ceremony is fine. You don't need a time then. They know when the ceremony is so that should be perfect! Don't worry about it. I think that is how we are going to word ours too! :)
Are you inviting people to the reception and not the ceremony? If not, they probably don't need to know a time as they will already be there. I think "immediately" explains the time. I am pretty sure that I have never seen a time written if the reception immediately followed.
Ok goodies!!! Thanks so much, because we do not want to order another batch of invites, that would suck!
Can you print the reception time on cardstock and insert it in so it looks like it all matches? Or maybe just print the time on a sticker and attach it to something?
If it says it's immediately after the ceremony, that's all you need! The reception time is really only included when there is a gap!

We just got our invites in and realized that on the reception card there is no time on it. It just says 'immediately following the ceremony'. Can I just write on the inside of the card the time of the reception or is it tacky? I mean, the invitation itself has the time for the ceremony but nothing included will have the reception time, uh-oh, HELP!!!
