not sure where this is - but wanted to get word out incase some of you are affected.

i've been worried about that.. the bridal shop owes me quite a bit from a dress i returned (long story) and have been VERY slow in cutting me a check back. hoping to finally get it at my 2nd fitting!

Many bridal shops are closing.  They are reciving a lot of competition from stores like David's Bridal and online vendors.  They are constantly slashing prices, etc.  I would just keep in constant communication with the bridal shop/boutique where your purchased your dress.
