My mom does it all the time. Her store is in a relatively rich area so she finds designer clothes with the tags still on. The one by me doesn’t have the same quality of stuff.

Lol. Goodwill is one of my fav stores. I “discovered” it while working at my last job where I was making nothing. I literally could not shop anywhere else, now that I have a better job and more money I still go there, they have awesome stuff sometimes. I got 3 pairs of J Crew jeans, 4 business suits from the Limited, and a GORGEOUS BCBG dress from there on ONE trip awhile back. It was probably one of the greatest days of my life. LOL. I only ended up spending like $40.00. SO worth it!!!

I shop there all the time.  I find clothes, but also see wedding stuff often too.  Unused votive candles, matching vases, boxed wedding invitation kits, etc, We washed and used sheer curtains on the buffet tables, bc they matched the colors.  I even found an aisle runner for $2.99

YES!I live in a fairly small town so our goodwill is crappy 🙁 but when i go visit my sister in houston or aunt in Dallas Ill go hit up goodwill/thrift stores for sure! Last week I was in Dallas and bought my daughter almost her entire winter wardrobe (most still with store tags) for about 20 bucks. heck yea!

I never have luck with Goodwill stores! I wish I did, and I used to hit them up quite often. But for clothes, never any luck.

I usually have really  good luck with housewares at antique stores, though.

I get my little granddaughters clothes there all the time.  They grow out of them so fast, many still have tags on them!

OMG ~ I LOVE the Goodwill near me.  It’s a huge new store and I find amazing buys all the time.  I call it my “favorite shopping place”.  I’ve purchased so many really nice items of clothing, candles, etc.  One of my favorite dresses, black sleeveless came from there.  It was new with tags.  I paid $8.00 for it.  Love, love, love……

I also found some amazing milk glass vases……one hob nail type and several others….all different.  I looked for them at Goodwill and purchased them after being inspired by Miss Stripe’s amazing picnic pics with her milk glass from a few months back.  I have four of them on my dining room table now and it draws so many compliments.  I love my Goodwill………..

I love Goodwill!!! Ours isn’t quite so good since they moved it from it’s old location in a very wealthy area, but I still check there once a week or so. I just bought my coffee table there a couple weeks ago – for $35. It goes perfectly with my other furntiture and looks brand new. I will buy clothes there too if I see something I like that’s new or in good condition, althought their selection is pretty hit-or-miss since they moved. Some of my relatives seem to look down just a little on Goodwill shopping, but it’s whatever haha. 😛

@kkkatieB12:  Yeah, I’ve had a similar response from some friends.  I’ll be wearing an amazing Bebe top and get compliments and tell them it’s from Good Will and they kind of turn up their nose……  Ironic because everyone is into “going green” and recycling……purchasing clothing at Goodwill is exactly the same thing.  I’ve stopped telling people where my items come from……..  my little secret !

Oh my gosh..pardon my enthusiasm, but I FREAKIN LOVE GOODWILL…Seriously.  It’s da bomb.  I go treasure hunting there on the weekends.  I got a brand spankin pair of american eagle shoes for $2.00.  Looked them up online, would have cost me $45!  I’ve gotten most of my honeymoon dresses from Goodwill.  I’m always amazed at the stuff I find there!
