Hey bees! I am getting married in April 2015 at an outdoor venue. I was originally thinking purple but I could not find a shade of purple that I liked (except a dress that was $280 and I really didn’t want my girls spending that much money). I found these black dresses and I was thinking my MOH in the one strap dress and the rest of the BMs in strapless. I am conflicted though! What are your thoughts, bees? Thank you!
Here are the dresses (I think) I am settled on which are about $140 each..
This is the $280 dress (but it was in a fushia color)

beauty418: My girls wore short black dresses with purple shoes. It looked fantastic. This is one of my favourite wedding pictures – The dresses were $170 CDN and the shoes are from DB ($60 CDN)

MsGinkgo: That does look amazing! 🙂 DB still sells those shoes too so I may be looking into them. Were they comfortable?

I LOVE the lace one!
My girls are wearing this dress except black and adding champagne sashes. 🙂

beauty418: For my sister’s wedding this summer, we wore the black dress on the right, and I LOVED it! It was super comfortable, not too warm, easy to dance in, and the best part was that I can actually wear it to other events, just dress it up or down whenever necessary. It’s classic, and I really don’t think you could go wrong with it! Hope that helps!

whatever black dresses they wanted as long as they were approximately knee length. I loved how it looked actually.
eta: I told them to accessorize with pearls of their choosing too. i love my one bridesmaid’s pearl bib necklace! it looks great.

beauty418: The strapless short black one is what I am thinking about for my BM’s love those. I also LOVE the lace… where did you find that?

acc092289: David”s Bridal 🙂 I was suprised by the quality of the dress, too. It’s lace up top with a mesh bottom (but it looks very similar to chiffon)
