I don’t have any photos, but I’m 5’3″ and I liked how drop waist gowns looked on me.  Natural waist gowns made my torso look short; drop waists made my waist look small.  Also, I want a big skirt, and drop waists kept the skirt from overwhelming me.  Try on some drop waist and natural waist gowns and see what you think.

This isn’t the dress I chose, but it was my runner-up.

For me (I’m 5’3″ btw), a natural waist was more flattering. However, my cousin who is 5’2″ wore a dropped waist and it looked great on her. I think it really depends on your body shape more than height.

Not the dress I chose, but I liked the shape it gave me.  I’m 5’3″ and standing barefoot on the platform.

it’s mermaid, is this a drop waist?

i;m 5 feet. the dress is the sample size. i don’t have a picture from my first fitting, but the dress looks 10000x better in the right size.
