I know there are some old posts on brides wearing short dresses, so I thought I would post and see what soon to be brides are wearing for short/tea lenght dresses!
I am having my short dress made but I really want to see if I can find some affordable/casual dresses for the week before and after so I am looking for ideas.

Here is a (very bad) picture of me in my dress. Sorry it’s not that good, I don’t have anyone to take one of me in the dress!

@Missus_LLC: WOW, you look fabulous in that dress!!!!

@Missus_LLC: CUTE! I love the style!
@girlfromwollaston: Your dress is so simply beautiful! My favorite style! I can’t handle gems and anything glittery! The dress I am having made is going to look similar to that but have straps and be a bit more earth.

I do! I bought it on Etsy from SalvageLife’s vintage shop.
I only have the one picture of me in the dress (and it isn’t a great pic, sorry). I still need to get it slightly altered so it fits me perfectly.
I’m so excited to wear it in August!

@MrsRuby: Nice1 The dress I had originally thought I wanted looked a lot like that one but it was the Watters Cancun dress 🙂 I decided to have one made instead though.

Will be altered to a sweetheart neckline and will hit just above the knee once fitted =)

@MrsRuby: You’re dress is gorgeous, I love that style!
I had a long dress for the wedding, but I had a short dress for my TTD

Somehow I misplaced the picture of me in the dress haha. I’m much shorter than her so the dress was hemmed up to just below the knee. I also added off the shoulder sleeves and a giant bow in the back!
