I'm a short dress bride and I've yet to figure out what shoes to wear. I keep searching online but nothing's jumped out at me. I'm sure I can find super fabulous shoes, I just haven't found them yet.
I am in the same boat. Short dress bride, no shoes yet. Wedding in a month. To add to that I have really flat feet, so have problems with fit.
So funny this popped up again. I love the shoes I originally bought however I'm not sure they'll be what I wear on the wedding day. I'm not a fan of the wood stack on the wedge, but they're just to comfortable and cute to return.
I'm having the hardest time! I just now bought a vintage pair off Etsy and can't wait for them to come as another option.
i'm wearing a short dress for an outdoor wedding, and definitely don't want heels - i'm scared of sinking into the ground and tripping while i walk down the aisle!
i think i'm going to get a wedge flip flop. and getting rhinestones put on the straps of the flip flop that match my bouquet. it's probably a little casual, but it's totally me. i wear flipflops any chance i can.
my bridesmaids are also wearing short dresses, and they are getting rhinestone-d flipflops too.
Mary Alice, those wedges are the shoes I was considering. It is good to know they are comfy, but I am disappointed with the wood wedge :(
For the girls who can't find wedges that you like, if you google "Clean Heels" the first website is one out of the UK. I ordered two sets of these for my bridesmaids and she had them here within a week!
I already tested them out on a rainy day and they worked like a charm :) Now my bm's don't have to worry about sinking AND they can wear cute heels!
I got these shoes to wear with my short wedding dress. I am only 5'4" and my fiance is 6' so we are good to go. I loe that they are satin (so I can dye them after the wedding) and DSW is amazing! I have been looking for my shoes. I have a short dress so I want fun shoes, however I also want a low heel because I'm already tall, it'll be an outdoor event so I don't want to sink, and I don't usually wear heels so I want to be able to walk and be comfortable.
I just bought these blue shoes off Endless and I'm waiting on them to come to try them on with my dress!
However I'm rethinking the buckle in favor of a bow or something else a little more dressy.
What shoes will you be wearing? Where did you find them?
