I’m sporting the red pumps and I can’t wait for everyone to see them! I love the tea length wedding gowns, not that mine is but, I have a friend who wore that length and it was gorgeous!

I think that as long as you keep it classy, it can look great. It might start to look a little cheesy or costume-y if you start pairing it with bright makeup (or bright red lips), a bird cage, etc.

I think you should pick just a few sassy elements (in this case, dress and shoes) and then keep the rest subtle so that the look doesn’t go overboard.

What fun would it be wearing a short dress if you weren’t going to go with some stylish pumps?  Go for it!  (I don’t know why us long dress wearers freak so much about the shoes…who’s going to see them anyway?

I suppose it depends on what you want to "show off."  If it’s the dress, then the shoes might steal some of the spotlight off the dress and vice versa.  However, if you love both the dress/shoes combination, then I say, go for it and flaunt it!  In my opinion, I think red shoes are cute and vibrant, adding to the personality of the bride!

Gorgeous! I, too, am a major fan of the fun and flirty style – and COMPLETELY obsessed with birdcage veils! Go for it girl, it’s going to look fab!

I think makeup could be elegant and not overdone.  You can do red lips with this, but make it a soft red.  Make the shoes the element that pops..and maybe your bouquet too!

NO!! not at all … I have a great flickr account bookmarked where the bride had a short dress … red tulle underskirt and fabulous red heels.  She rocked the look & I am sure you will too.

I am doing a short dress (Dolly Couture) and a blue tulle.  I want blue shoes but haven’t found the right ones yet.
