Engaged on April 4th, will be married on December 27th - which gave us only 8.5 months.
We were engaged in August and our wedding will be in March. Seven months.
We were engaged in January (though my parents think April) and married in July. So, 6 months, though 3 technically because we didn't get much into planning until it was officially announced.
Our was short by some standards - Engaged in late Feb (2/26) and married 11/21. =)
I think it was the PERFECT amount of time once we got the ball rolling on booking important stuff like the venue, and gave me enough time to do a lot of DIY without stressing myself or going overboard =)
We were engaged in Oct. and married in May. I think it was the perfect amount of time.
We were engaged on Aug 1 09 and we are getting married December 19 09. Only 4 1/2 months, which has been plenty of time for us.
Our was exactly a year, and honestly, it felt too short to me. Too much stuff to do! So little time!

I feel like im the only one with a short engagement, i got engaged on july 4th and im getting on december 12th almost... 6 months. Any other short engagment bees out there? How long was your engagement?
