In all the weddings I've shot, I've almost NEVER seen a dad he knew how to dance with his daughter. That's what makes it so sweet and endearing! I say choose a song that is special to you and step all over eachothers feet :) And you can always take a song into music editing software (like garageband, which comes standard on all macs) and just shorten the song by taking out a verse, a chorus, or just fading the song out early. Hope that helps!

"What a wonderful world" by Louis Armstrong is one that I've seen at a lot of weddings. It's pretty short at about 2:20.
I danced to "In My Life" by the Beatles, which was also pretty short at about 2:30.

I like "My Girl" by the Temptations, "Sentimental Journey" by Frank Sinatra...
I remember dancing to "Brown Eyed Girl" with my dad as a young girl - it works - but if you have brown eyes lol.

My mom convinced my dad to do the father-daughter dance. Thing is I've never seen him dance, ever, and he doesn't want to take lessons. So to make this humane, does anyone have a good short song for a father-daughter dance? Thanks
