We have finally found a videographer we really love, but the package that is within our ideal price range doesn’t include the short video. I’ve read that most people watch the highlight video much more than their full length one, so I’m torn on whether it will be worth it with the added cost? I’m in need of advice from all of the bees ??? Thanks so much!

@ErinPowell: So, we didn’t have a videographer so I am no expert at this, but I do know that when I watch videos of weddings, I love the short films a whole lot more than the full ones! They’re so sweet.

My husband and I had a videographer at our wedding, we had a same day screening he videoed hubby and I while we got ready for the ceremony and the really moving parts of the ceremony and he edited it on location and showed it at the reception, it was so amazing and there wasn’t a dry eye anywhere. We also have a full wedding video and that was so worth it, it’s so worth the extra money.

I would get it. I’m obsessed with ours… have watched it over and over and over again and was able to share it with many people! Nobody wants to sit through my 3 hour wedding video (I don’t blame them).

Is it possible to just get the short video edited and just the raw footage for the rest (then you can edit it yourself?). Ask him even if it isn’t a package option.
