Short Gowns….did you rock one? Would you wear one? Show me what you've got!

I have seen some really pretty short gowns, but am avoiding the ones that flare out – whether at 3/4 or shorter which are all in danger of looking like either a Christmas tree or a Ballet performance.

I also wouldn’t get a short dress with a train attached because it looks like someone’s come with a pair of sciss and chunked away at the front. A slit dress is different – that looks balanced still, but not sure it says bridal to me. Here is a selection of what I would call modern short dresses with a few classics nearer the end. I prefer those that skim the knee rather than very short, but maybe you could get away with short in hot weather.

I wore a short dress.  It was an encore wedding for me, and I wanted something 1950s looking.  I have seen at least 3 other Bees with my dress…LOL…It’s Oleg Cassini from DB.  Reasonably priced.
